About me
I've worn my fair share of hats. Teacher, translator, importer, freight forwarder... then I got into software. I managed projects, trained in UX, did consulting, discovered Scrum and on the way found my calling in Agile ways of working. I discovered better ways to help teams and organisations deliver reliably and happily. I use evolutionary improvement approaches to help businesses adopt new structures and patterns to unlock flow, learning and the potential of people. Outside of work I write about topics including communication, management, continuous improvement, ways of working and leadership.
I'm British. I met my wife whilst living in Mexico and we have two children. Inventor of Rock Friday™ among other ridiculous games and traditions, I've written books of 🦛animal fables and 👻ghost stories. I'm into 📚reading, ⚙️productivity hacking, 💪🏼health and functional strength, 🗺localism, 🌽growing my own food, working with 🪓wood, ☕coffee junkie, 🍺beer taster, occasional Onewheeler and 🎮gamer.
